Did you know that Lavender Oil gets rid of ants, spiders and scorpoins?

I use a lot of Aromotherapy Oils, to make my face creams but here are some uses for these oil , for other problems. You can buy the less expensive brands and larger bottles at the supermarket. But for making face creams use good ones.

Use less expensive brands for:-

1) Lavendar oil, in a few drops of water for wiping kitchen and bathroom tops benches, and in water for mopping floors.

2)Lavendar Oil on rolled up piece of cotton (soak them with the oil), for cupboards, drawers, and anywhere for fish moths, moths etc.

3)Lavendar Oil, a few drops added to your Fabric Softner in your washing machine. A disinfectant.

4)Good quality Lavendar Oil applied directly to burns, and sunburn. Keep in the kitchen.

5)Tea Tree oil for fungal infections, minor bits and scratches and wounds. A few drops on tissues for blocked sinuses. Also good in a bowl of steam and inhale.

Will drop in with some more tips if you like.

Did you know that Lavender Oil gets rid of ants, spiders and scorpoins?
Oh my word! I had no clue. I am copying this information! Thank you for sharing.
Reply:No I didn%26#039;t know before.

I%26#039;ve got lavender in my garden, I love it!

I must try it soon.

Thanks
Reply:I love lavender! I like your tips, and please add more. I have noticed a big difference between the cheap oil and the quality oils... beside the price. I have a wood burning stove in my basement and in the winter I will put a pan of water on top of the stove to add moisture to the dry air. I put several stems of dried lavender in the water and it makes the house smell and feel good.
Reply:Justme, thank you so much for those handy tips. I%26#039;m going to order some lavender oil to keep around the house. With the grandkids around, I try to use natural products in the open. One thing that I have on hand is natural eucalyptus oil that a friend of mine introduced me to. I%26#039;ll mix it with warm water to make a gargle to soothe a sore throat.
Reply:Boric acid works better. Since all insects have their skeletons on the outside of the body, the boric acid dries them out. It also dries out their eggs, thus interrupting the reproductive cycle.
Reply:I knew it did a lot of things, but I did not know about the insects. Thanks so much.

I love lavender. Someone killed my lavender plant outside. It had flourished through the winter last year and bloomed and bloomed. Somebody purposefully killed it. I wonder why people do things like that.

BTW, I am glad you did not go away.
Reply:Heyyy, nice!

Very environmentally friendly. Thank you for the tips.
Reply:Thanks a million Just me. I bath in lavendar scented water and rub down in lavendaar scented lotion--wonderful for relaxation.
Reply:Sounds great, thanks. Now, do you know of something that will help the very slow healing process of a surgical incision, and also help cut down the hyper-sensitivity in that area?? If you can help, Annelle, I%26#039;ll come all the way there and give you a giant ((hug))!!!

Reply:Thanks so much for sharing this! I have chemical illness and have to use all organic and essential oils and I didn%26#039;t know that Lavender does all these things!! Now I can Lavenderbreeze my house! Smile! You are so great!
Reply:thanks babe for the tips. Its nice to know that someone actually makes their own face creams. email me how to do it please.

You are soo clever.
Reply:Thanks for the tips.
Reply:Good information. And do we need it. In Melbourne there are a lot of colds and and flu going round. We have been crook for a whole week and the grand-kids, and kids. we have been going to and fro to help with the grandchildren, and with summer on the way, hopefully, the spiders come out too.
Reply:I%26#039;ve heard there were a lot of uses for lavender oil. I have a lot of fragrance sensitivities so I have to be careful what I use. I have some books of %26#039;natural%26#039; remedies and one containing common household products that have many uses. I use vinegar for many things, like in the wash instead of bleach, also to get rid of odors, and I put it on bug bites and minor burns too. I%26#039;m always looking for tips like these, they%26#039;re great alternatives to harsh chemical products. Thanks for sharing.
Reply:Good idea! I%26#039;d like to know how to make your face cream. Can you post it?!!
Reply:Thank you for the %26quot;green%26quot; tips. Very educational! I love lavendar (my Grandma would never leave the house without wearing her Lavendar Water cologne) - please come back again and give us some more green tips. Thank you!
Reply:Great tips, thanks. Here%26#039;s another, I just heard on the radio this morning that cockroaches can%26#039;t stand the smell of mint. I don%26#039;t know if this is true or not. Thankfully that%26#039;s one problem I don%26#039;t have to worry about.
Reply:I%26#039;m making a copy of this. And sending to family and friends. Thanks.
Reply:I knew that Lavender is my favorite of all the herbs and scents. I knew that I couldn%26#039;t go to sleep at night without spraying my neck and bed with lavender linen water.

But I didn%26#039;t know about the cleaning/pesticides side of Lavender. Do drop in from time to time with more great tips on how to be %26quot;green%26quot; and smell great too!
Reply:How about trolls?
Reply:No I didn%26#039;t know that about Lavender oil. I prefer to use nature rather than those pesticides anyway. Thanks for the tip!!!! I did know about the Tea Tree oil.
