Body wax won't come off the plastic!?

I%26#039;m using tea tree body wax - very good and doesn%26#039;t leave my skin raw and red. The wax heater got left on its side (long after the last time i used it - so the wax was thick) for a bit and the wax has spilled all over it. I use the heater that comes with a removable wax container and a lid, and the wax is EVERYWHERE. I couldn%26#039;t even get the lid off at first. I%26#039;ve read all these solutions about using an iron and paper and all that, but this is a round plastic container, I%26#039;ve tried heating the wax to the maximum and wiping it off with a cotton strip, but it%26#039;s still sticky. It%26#039;s not water soluble and I really don%26#039;t want to throw the heater out. The inside of the heater is metal and the outside is plastic. PLEASE help!!

Goo Gone sold at places like Wal mart and Home Depot. Works on wax, I got crayon out of fabric with it, and it has many uses.
Reply:u know y this happen to u? the wax is not enough hot.... but if the wax is too hot it will burn your skin.... and even u turn on max it is still sticky that%26#039;s mean your heater is not working pro bally. what u have to do is change the container. put the wax into a microwave safe container(small size) and everytime u want to use it just put it in your microwave for 1 or 1 n a half minutes to reheat it. well, or course depends on the amount of your wax. if u found that it is not enough hot reheat it again or if too hot , put it aside fisrt to let it more cold until it ready to use. and i have a small tips for u.... every time u wax dont throw away the used cloth , u can use it about 4-5 times(in 1 time) because used cloth with wax on it works better than the new 1. u will fell not pain at all and your hair will come out easily. but remember not to use on your eyebrows.
